A COMPREHENSIVE UNDERSTANDING ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: LAW, POLICY AND PRACTICE
The research was aimed at understanding the intellectual property in higher education with some historical information about the growing importance of academic IP and the policy-landscape in Canada about IP and higher education. This will be followed by a discussion of the legal context of IP in Canada. After suggesting a suitable research design to our client, we were finally able to present a discussion of our findings about IPR in the Education space.
Survey was programmed & hosted by Questionlab Inc. containing 25 Questions and 2 Open-Ended topics. The company conducted the data collection amongst people who were employed in the Technology department of different Canadian universities with a total sample size of 250 responses. The titles included mostly Sr. Executives & those who were Decision makers. The total field time was decided to be approximately 2 weeks for data collection. Finally, Questionlab Inc. was able to deliver the results on time.
CLOUD COMPUTING – ARCHITECTURE, PLATFORMS AND APPLICATIONS
The research was aimed at understanding the concept of cloud architecture and the comparison of cloud computing with grid computing. It also addresses the characteristics and applications of several popular cloud computing platforms. By conducting the research, one of our Global Technology clients was able to pinpoint the challenges and issues of cloud computing. The company was able to identify several challenges from the cloud computing adoption perspective with highlights towards Cloud interoperability.
